Cordoba Climate
In general, the climate in Cordoba is rather mild. However (like Texas), sudden changes in conditions should be expected. The months of April thru August are generally dry - with moderate rains during the other months.

Typical shooting day

A typical shooting day begins with a hearty breakfast - with departure to the fields by 8 AM. The driving distance to the fields ranges between 15 and 50 minutes. Each hunter shoots with an experienced, professional Bird Boy who will provide shells and cold drinks, and act as a loader and retrieve downed birds.

Shooting continues until midday - then the group gathers in a shady area for a traditional Argentine BBQ ("asado"). The asado features an open-air barbeque of excellent Argentine beef and other meats, salads, sausages, desserts, and great wines and beers. After lunch (and an optional siesta in a hammock) the shoot continues until approximately 6 PM. You can expect to shoot 2 to 4 cases of shells in a normal day.

Upon returning to Gaucho Lodge, you can relax with drinks and appetizers before dinner. You can also enjoy a professional massage and take advantage of our fully equipped game room. After a great gourmet dinner, you can enjoy cigars and after-dinner drinks, and relax with your friends in the game room.
